Mud cleaner is a combination of desander and desilter and mounted over a shale shaker with a fine mesh screen. A mud is fed to the inlet of hydrocyclone to separate particles and the underflow passes to the fine mesh where in particles larger than barite are discarded and thrown away. It is the second and third phase cleaning equipment for a whole solids control system.

Shale shaker is used to separate drilling cuttings for first phase cleaning in a whole solids control system. Desander is solids control equipment with a set of desander cyclone to separate sand from drilling mud in drilling rigs&peroid; Desander is installed on top of the mud tank following the shale shaker and vacuum degasser but before desilter&peroid; The desander removes the abrasive solids around 45-74 micron&peroid;
Desilter is solids control equipment similar as Desander&peroid; Configured with a set of desilter cones to separate 15~46 micron particles from drilling mud&peroid;
Decanter centrifuge is the 4th solids control equipment in whole drilling mud system&peroid; It is used to process drilling mud discharged from desilter cones or mud cleaner&peroid;
Vacuum degasser is the 2nd purification equipment in whole drilling mud system&peroid; It serves to get rid of entrained gas in drilling fluid&peroid; Mainly remove small bubbles that a liquid film has enveloped and entrapped&peroid;
Centrifugal pump is widely used in the whole drilling mud system. Through complete solids control system, it is used as trip pump, desander pump, desilter pump, mixing pump, charging pump, and so on. Aipu provide complete line centrifugal pumps used in drilling mud system.
Mud agitator is used in the surface mud system to suspend solids and maintain a homogeneous mixture throughout the system.
Jet mud mixer is a combination of centrifugal pump and mixing hopper with pipeline.
Shearing pump is designed to reduce cost of mixing polymers and clays while improving mud properties, it shear the polymers eliminates fish eyes and prevents polymer chaining which can’t pass though the shaker screen
