A complete solids control system utilizes physical methods to remove solid particles from drilling mud to ensure optimal drilling mud performance and reduce drilling accidents. Effectively saving drilling costs and maximizing economic benefits.
We manufacture complete equipment for Oil & Gas drilling rigs from 250HP to 3000HP. Our systems are designed to handle rig maximum drilling depths from 2000m to 9000m with processing capacities from 90m³/h to 300m³/h.
The system includes mud mixing and storage units, solids removal equipment, and auxiliary devices - all working together to maintain optimal drilling fluid properties throughout the operation.

How our solids control system processes drilling mud efficiently
Drilling mud from the drill hole feeds into the shale shaker buffer box. The shaker uses API 35 to API 120 mesh screens to separate larger drilling cuttings. The fluid part drops into the sand trap compartment.
Mud from the sand trap overflows into the next compartment where the vacuum degasser suctions mud to remove entrained gases. Treated mud overflows into the degasser compartment.
The desander feeding pump picks up mud from the degasser compartment and feeds it into desander cyclones for 47-76 micron separation. Solids drop from the desander nozzle while fluid overflows into the desander compartment.
Another pump picks up mud from the desander compartment and feeds desilter cyclones. Solids drop through the desilter nozzle while fluid overflows into the desilter compartment.
A slurry or screw pump picks up mud from the desilter compartment into the decanter centrifuge for 2-7 micron separation. Clean mud flows into the centrifuge compartment for reuse.
