Shear pump installation
The shear pump should be installed near pumping source as far as possible to reduce the suction loss. The pump base should be placed horizontally and firmly to avoid vibration.
Belt pulley installation
1. The two pulley axis must be parallel, and the end error shouldn’t exceed 2mm.
2. The belt must be tighten on pulley.
3. The motor must be installed smoothly and firmly.
Shear pump inlet pipeline installation
1. The suction pipeline section area must be more than or equal to cross section of pump passage.
2. Prohibited throttle valve to be installed in suction pipeline, but we could install a normally open valve to reduce the flow disturbance.
3. It should be gradual transition from the high to low between the suction source and the pump.
4. The pipeline of the pump entrance must be straight and the pipeline is two times longer than the diameter of the suction pipe at least.
5. When use of hose suction temporarily, we should make sure the hose is not compressed. This is because the pressure of suction pipe is generally lower than atmospheric pressure. Under the effect of atmospheric pressure, the hose is compressed, resulting in flow decreased or even disappeared flow.
Shear pump outlet pipeline installation
1. To facilitate the maintenance of the pump, outlet pipe should be equipped a normally open valve.
2. All pipes should have its own support, prohibiting the pump bearing the weight of the pipeline.
3. When the working condition is unstable, we must install a throttle valve in the export pipeline to ensure the pump running normally.
4. When the pump outlet is connected with the pressure device, we must install a check valve between the throttle valve and the pump outlet to prevent fluid backflow.
