Drilling mud cleaner in solids control system

Drilling mud cleaner is usually used after drilling mud shale shaker in solids control system, it consists of inlet and outlet pipes and hydrocyclone. The cyclone is composed of an upper cover, the upper cone, a lower cone through the flange clamp connection as a whole, the bottom is a cap type low flow sand outlet.
The overflow pipe and the inlet pipe and outlet pipe of the cyclone are connected through the clamp. The underflow is adjustable, can be properly adjusted according to the change of drilling fluid sand level.
Adjust the underflow, just unscrew the adjustment cap, replace the underflow sand outlet, then screw on the cap can be adjusted.
Desander on both sides is provided with a liquid inlet, when just use one, the other should be sealed with a blind flange.
The purpose of the mud cleaner is to remove drilled solids larger than barite. Solids larger than 74-105 micrometers can be removed by the mud cleaner before the viscosity builds up.
Mud cleaner will deal with the mud after being treated by the first grade separation equipment. The barite will be recovered and cuttings which are bigger than barite will be removed. Then the barite in the underflow will flow into circulation tanks through the screens when the weighted mud passes while the particles that are bigger than mesh will be removed.
The weighted mud flows to the inlet head section of the desander or desilter entering the hydrocyclones for separation of particles. Mud leaving the underflow is further screened with fine mesh to separate larger particles allowing only barite size particles to pass through the screen returning and recovering then the clean mud.
