The jet mixing funnel is designed according to the technical parameters of venturi Funnel. It consists of mixing Funnel, butterfly valve, venturi components and basement. It has the features of easy installation and operation, excellent mixing effect and so on.
The coronary equipments include weighting pump, intake pipeline and discharge line.
Operation of jet mud mixer
1. When make up the drilling fluid, first open the intake butterfly valve of weighting pump and open the butterfly valve of fluid supply pipeline. Close the butterfly valve on the mixing Funnel to make the drilling fluid with pressure pass through the mixing Funnel and produce negative pressure in the mixing chamber. Then open the butterfly valve on the mixing funnel.
2. Cut the packing sack of materials with the knife on the tray of mixing Funnel to add the material of drilling fluid into the Funnel for compounding.
3. Control the speed of adding material to get the best mixing effect, so the designed treatment capacity of mixing should’t be exceeded.
4. Wash up the mixing Funnel after compounded or supplied fluid. Open the bottom plug to let the residual drilling fluid out.
Cautions for jet mud mixer
1. The distance between nozzle and the end plane of venturi tube should be adjusted in 32-80mm.
2. The incoming and discharge lines must be installed smoothly and evasively to avoid forming erratic flow.
3. Be careful not to cut your hands by the knife on the tray when adding material.
4. Open the plug under the T-joint in time to let the residual drilling fluid out after compounded or supplied fluid in winter to avoid freezing the equipments.
