What is function of drilling mud gun?

Mud gun mainly used for mixing drilling mud in the recycling system and prevent the mud precipitates.

The type of the mud gun
Mud guns are usually installed on the top of drilling fluid recycling tanks, mainly divided into two kinds-high pressure and low pressure. High pressure mud guns have small capacity and big pressure, generally supplied by drilling pump. Low pressure mud guns are general supplied by sand pump, which have large capacity and small pressure.

The function of mud gun
Mud guns are meant to provide supplemental or primary mixing in mud tanks depending on the number being used and the pit size. They are best used in tank corners to keep solids from settling and a mud agitator is placed in the tank center. Mud gun also play the role to transfer the weighted mud to each tank compartment so that the recycling would be a reality.

Attentions should be paid when using mud guns
1.  Pay attention to the cleanness of the mud gun nozzle, prevent it from clogging by the slurry.
2.  Notice the regulating of mud gun valve, adjust it according to the mud density.
Aipu mud gun are available for rotation adjustment to allow the operator to optimize the mud guns performance. The replaceable wear resistant jet nozzle is used, which is special design with better shearing.
Aipu mud gun mainly jets drilling fluids with high pressure inside mud tanks, in a bid to avert depositing solid phase at each corner of mud tank and pump inlets, and to deliver drilling fluids amongst compartments.
