Technical Description of Solid Control Centrifuge
Solids control centrifuge is a four-phase solids control equipment for processing drilling fluid in drilling operations. It is also called horizontal screw decanter centrifuge or horizontal sedimentation decanter centrifuge. According to different rotary speeds, it is divided into low-speed centrifuge, high-speed centrifuge and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) decanter centrifuge. It is used to recover barite, remove 2-7μm fine solid particles, control the density and viscosity of drilling fluids, also it's important processing equipment for drilling fluid mud recycling system.
Working principle of centrifuge
The drum and the spiral rotate in the same direction at a certain speed difference. The material is continuously introduced into the inner cylinder of the feeding spiral from the feed pipe, and then enters the drum after acceleration. Under the action of the centrifugal force, the heavier solid phase is deposited on the drum wall to form a sediment layer. The feeding spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid phase to the cone end of the drum and is discharged outside the machine through the slag discharge port. The lighter liquid phase forms an inner liquid ring, which continuously overflows the drum from the overflow port at the large end of the drum and is discharged outside the machine through the liquid discharge port.

Daily Maintenance
1.Cleaning: After using, clean the centrifuge's exterior to prevent oil, dust, and debris from entering the interior. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth, avoiding the use of organic solvents to prevent damage to the coating. Regularly clean the interior of the centrifuge chamber to remove any residual material to prevent corrosion of the rotor or chamber.
2. Lubrication: Check the lubrication of the motor and transmission parts regularly, generally every 3 to 6 months, and add or replace lubricating oil as needed to ensure good lubrication between the components and reduce wear and friction.
Check components: Regularly check the various components of the centrifuge, such as the drum, spiral, bearings, seals, belts, etc., to check for abnormal conditions such as wear, looseness, leakage, etc.
3. Check electrical equipment: Regularly check motors, circuits, control systems and other electrical equipment to ensure normal operation, check for damaged wires, loose plugs and other issues
