What is damping spring of shale shaker?

Vibration motor, shaker box and damping spring are important parts of drilling mud shale shaker. Damping spring as critical part of shale shaker will directly affect shale shaker work performance. We can choose damping spring made by different materials according to different shale shaker.

Requirements on rubber spring designing
1. Pay attention to bonding degree between rubber and metal to avoid stress concentration at the bonding surface.
2. In order to prolong service life of shear deformation vibration isolator, give appropriate compression in vertical shearing direction, the stiffness of the compression direction become hard, and the shear stiffness become soft.
3. Maintain and replace damping spring regularly. Avoid vibration isolation working a long time in the tension state.
4. Resistance is bound to consume energy, this part energy loss will be converted into heat energy. And the rubber is a bad conductor of heat. It can prevent as temperature rise caused performance of rubber isolator change.

Matters needing attention
1. Take some easy heat radiation measures on the structure or choose natural rubber material with less heat. Because the rubber vibration isolator can convert some of the energy into heat energy, reduce the vibration energy, and achieve the purpose of reducing vibration. So usually rubber isolator is also called shock absorber.
2. The large rubber vibration isolation is not suitable for shale shaker.
