How to install shale shaker screen?
Shale shakerScreen is a critical part in drilling mud shale shaker. Whether we can correctly install and adjust screen or not directly determine treating efficiency of drilling mud. Today, Aipu solids control will tell you how to install and adjust screen correctly.
1. As tension device of shale shaker is not open fully, which cause screen broken along linear lines easily.
2. Adjust length of screen according to detail requirement. If screen is too long, it is easy to cause bolt of tension device can’t reach fastening completely. The poor fastening is easy to cause the device to produce a loose drop, eventually lead to destruction of the screen.
3. When installing should ensure it has some gaps between shale shaker screen and shaker box to avoid too small gap causing wear between parts.
4. The screen must be tensioned, or may influence sreening efficiency.
5. The screen rack should be assembled after shaker box.
6. When installing pressplate, we should pay attention flatness of the plate. And lining with a strong flexibility of the sealing of the sponge with uniform locking, because this is the key to prevent the occurrence of mixed level, and also is an important factor affecting the service life of the screen.
7. According to screen mesh to increase screen support timely, the purpose is to play a supporting function to prolong service life.
8. If there is deviation or cluster, we should adjust to flatness and uniformity of screen. If occurring mixed level phenomenon, we should check whether the screen is pressed or not.
