Conditions of use:

In the process of oil and steam drilling, a large amount of heat is generated by cutting rock with drilling tools, at the same time, a large amount of heat is generated by the friction between drilling tools and the hole wall, and the low temperature at the bottom of the well rises gradually with the increase of the drilling depth, and this heat is transferred to the mud to be taken out of the well, and the temperature of the mud rises gradually at the same time. High mud temperature will lead to certain corrosion of drilling tools and conveying equipment and shorten the service life of drilling tools; at the same time, it will also affect the mud composition and mud function, and seriously cause mud failure, failing to achieve the function of protecting the well wall and drilling tools. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the research on the ground cooling treatment technology of oil-based mud, so as to reduce the circulating temperature of oil-based mud at the bottom of the well, increase the stability of the guiding tools, prolong the service life of the guiding tools, and shorten the cycle of well construction.

Working principle:

The mud cooling system mainly includes: sand pump, plate heat exchanger, cooling tower and water storage tank. The high temperature mud is fed into the plate heat exchanger by the sand pump for heat exchange, and after heat exchange, the mud is discharged from the mud outlet through the discharge pipeline; the low temperature water in the storage tank is fed into the plate heat exchanger through the pump for heat exchange, and the high temperature water is discharged to the cooling tower, cooled down by the strong cold cooling fan in the cooling tower, and then finally flowed into the water storage tank. This cycle is repeated to achieve the mud cooling.
